Week 1 – 3
We were asked to pick a place to investigate for our first brief. I’ve always been fascinated by common day to day things so for this project I decided to focus on my local corner shop.
I’ve always found curious how these small shops are so much more than just convenient. First, I took pictures. Then, I began observing all the range of things they sell, the different types of people that shop there, the corner shop – customer relationship, and more. I started by sketching, the architecture and location, and then the people and their purchases.
